• Prof. Henryk Skarżyński receives the Individual Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland

    On May 5, 2021, the 18th Gala of the President of Poland’s Economic Award was held at the Presidential Palace. During the ceremony, President of Poland Andrzej Duda presented awards for outstanding merits in developing the Polish economy and entrepreneurship in five primary and two special categories; an individual award was presented to Professor Henryk Skarżyński.

    His Magnificence Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, PhD, appointed Prof. Henryk Skarżyński to the Warsaw University of Technology Centre for Advanced Studies Advisory Council in the 2020-2024 term.   • Prof. Henryk Skarżyński becomes the chairman of the University Board of the Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw

    On 28 January 2021, the Senate of Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw nominated Prof. Henryk Skarżyński as the chairman of the University Board. The tenure of the newly-elected University Board has begun on 1 January 2021. University Board is a public university body comprising 6 to 8 persons appointed by the Senate. At least half of them must be from outside the university

    On 9 July 2020, during the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Polish Olympic Movement at the Polish Olympic Committee (PKOL) headquarters in Warsaw, Prof. Henryk Skarżyński received the commemorative award.   • Obituary

    We were deeply saddened to hear about Dr. Michel Tchouamo passing. Dr. Tchouamo passed away on April 3, 2020, in Douala, Cameroon, because of COVID-19 disease. Dr. Tchouamo was a co-organizer of hearing screening tests in school-age children in Douala, conducted on November 7-10, 2017, within the project managed by prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński. Dr. Michel Tchouamo created the foundations for
