  • Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński elected to further prestigious AAO-HNS committees

    Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński, Deputy Head of the Department of Teleaudiology and Screening Tests of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, was appointed a member of two committees in the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery: Implantable Hearing Devices Committee and Otology & Neurotology Education Committee for the 2021–2022 term.     On May 5, 2021, the 18th Gala of the President of Poland’s Economic Award was held at the Presidential Palace. During the ceremony, President of Poland Andrzej Duda presented awards for outstanding merits in developing the Polish economy and entrepreneurship in five primary and two special categories; an individual award was presented to Professor Henryk Skarżyński.
