On 24-27 October, the 2nd International Innovative Technologies and Invention Expo INNOVATION TURKIYE 2013 took place in Istanbul (Turkey). The National Network of Teleaudiology, developed by the specialists from the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, has been submitted for the contest.
The idea of the exhibition is to promote inventions and innovations developed in scientific institutions, universities, science parks and innovative enterprises, and their transfer to the economy. The exhibition creates an international platform for scientific and economic exchange, which establishes a cooperation between science and industry. Among exhibitors presenting the inventions are universities, research institutes, innovative companies and institutions supporting inventiveness
Many honorary guests participated in the official opening ceremony, among them Nihat Ergun, the Minister of Scientific Research. In total, 588 inventions were presented, out of which 4 were from Poland.
The jury of the INNOVATION TURKIYE Expo, awarded the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing with the Gold Medal with Mention, for the development of the National Network of Teleaudiology.
