Description: The goal of the Project is to develop and implement to a clinical practice, across the whole country, the multifunctional diagnostic&telerehabilitation device – the Capsule. The set of diagnostic&therapeutic devices integrated in one universal unit will enable diagnostics of many sensory organs – hearing, vision, balance, smell and taste – and of speech, as well as rehabilitation of patients who has been diagnosed with disorders of these organs, including monitoring and telerehabilitation of people with hearing implants.
Currently, there is no such system of devices which would enable diagnostics of most important organs of senses and the speech, in one place and within short time. In order to diagnose mentioned above organs, patients have to visit several medical centers – what means numerous consultations and often long months of waiting for a visit. For many people diagnostic process is so tiresome that they resign from tests and treatment.
Development of the innovative diagnostic&therapeutic Capsule, which will be used in centers across country, will contribute to dissemination and increase access to prophylactics for people with sensory organs disorders, as well as to their rehabilitation.
