On 11 May 2022, Prof. Gertruda Uścińska, President of ZUS, and Prof. Henryk Skarżyński, Director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, signed an agreement of cooperation. The parties have agreed to cooperate as partners in the fields of education, scientific and research, and implement joint projects in the field of prevention and medical certification related to the risk of inability to work due to disorders, defects, and disorders of sensory organs, such as hearing, voice, smell, taste, and balance.
As a result of the execution of this agreement, the Institute has been granted the title of the Partner to cooperate with the Social Insurance Institution within the scope of promotion and information, educational and research activities, and the implementation of educational, scientific, research and publishing projects. The agreement also promotes mutual promotion during events, congresses, and conferences organized by both parties.
It is worth noting that since 2019 experts of the Social Insurance Institution have actively participated in successive editions of the “Health of Poles” Congress. The Congress is also traditionally and annually held under the honorary patronage of the Social Insurance Institution.
