On Monday, April 24, 2023, the “Personalities and Successes” gala was held in Warsaw. Among the prominent awardees was Prof. Henryk Skarżyński, Director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing and the World Hearing Center in Kajetany.

– The Personalities and Successes Gala is like no other because we honor outstanding people from different backgrounds. Everyone has a personality in their field, and the diversity gives us unprecedented touch, Mariusz Pujszo, the initiator and organizer of the gala, said. – The galas integrate people. They can meet, talk, make friends or do business together. He added that we try to be apolitical, let go of any bias, and meet with an open heart and an open head.

This is a special award. Prof. Henryk Skarżyński was among those who received a unique statuette and the title of Outstanding Personality of the Year, alongside such figures as Lech Wałęsa, Prof. Mirosław Ząbek, Prof. Michał Kleiber, Jerzy Makura, Robert Korzeniowski, Sobiesław Zasada, Beata Drzazga and Szymon Marciniak.

– I advocate for rewarding successful people. Local, regional, and national successes are equally crucial as international or global ones. They empower to overcome further barriers – Prof. Henryk Skarżyński said.

As always, artists, businessmen, athletes and politicians attended the gala. During the official part, statuettes were presented: Success of the Year 2023 and Personality of the Year 2023.

“Personalities and Successes of the Year” has been an important and prestigious event in Polish business for fourteen years.
