We were deeply saddened to hear about Dr. Michel Tchouamo passing. Dr. Tchouamo passed away on April 3, 2020, in Douala, Cameroon, because of COVID-19 disease.
Dr. Tchouamo was a co-organizer of hearing screening tests in school-age children in Douala, conducted on November 7-10, 2017, within the project managed by prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński. Dr. Michel Tchouamo created the foundations for establishing cooperation with Laquintinie Hospital in Douala, uniting the otolaryngologist environment around the project directed by prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński.
