The Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing awarded by the Main Council of Research Institutes

On the occasion of its 30th anniversary,  the  Main Council of Research Institutes (RGIB) held a ceremonial meeting in the Auditorium of the Warsaw University of Technology on 12 September 2022. The Council is an organization representing currently 91 Polish research institutes in economy, infrastructure, environment, agriculture, medicine, broadly understood security, and humanities. During the meeting, the most innovative and active institutions received the awards. The award for the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing was presented  to Prof. Henryk Skarżyński by Izabela Stępień, the Director of the Department of Sciences, on behalf of the Minister of Science and Education.

The ceremony was also an opportunity for the research institutes to present their latest achievements, innovative solutions created in scientific facilities, workrooms, research laboratories that contribute to the well-being of the Polish society. Numerous guests could also visit an exhibition of the achievements of dozens of research institutes.

The Main Council of Research Institutes represents the interests of the research community in Poland and abroad, and is engaged in creating the national economic and social policy, especially concerning science and innovation.

The Council’s task is to prepare opinions and motions to the state authorities, intended at solving common problems faced by the institutes, as well aṡ relating to the development of science, improvement of innovation and efficiency of the economy, development of research personnel, especially young scientists, or research and implementation of innovative technologies.
