  • Prof. Henryk Skarżyński honoured by the Charter of the Pantheon of Polish Inventors and Discoverers

    During the events celebrating 25 years of deafness treatment in Poland and 20 years of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing that took place on November 7, 2016 in the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall Professor Henryk Skarżyński was honoured to join the Pantheon of Polish Inventors and Discoverers.   • IFPS Business Premium Award winner

    On September 26, 2016, Bloomberg Businessweek Poland magazine awarded the Business Premium 2016 award for the services of outstanding quality, modernity and fit to market needs. Among the winners was the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing for 10 years of telemedical care of patients with different hearing implants.   • Prof. Henryk Skarżyński decorated by Children’s Ombudsman

    On 13th July 2016, during the Gala Concert of the 2nd International Music Festival for Children, Youths and Adults with Hearing Disorders ‘Beats of Cochlea’, Minister Marek Michalak had decorated Prof. Henryk Skarżyński with an Honorary Medal ‘For Merit to Children’s Rights Protection’.     An award „Not indifferent” of the 3rd International Congress of Irena Sendler Schools is an exceptional distinction, handed out for the first time this year.     The 5th Conference of Health Service “Pain and suffering – roots of light and darkness. Medicine – theology – culture” took place on 16th April 2016. During the event Professor Henryk Skarżyński received a medal from the conference organizers. The medal was awarded for the promotion of the holistic vision of man who experienced pain and suffering.

  • First Pole to become a member of the American Neurotology Society

    Professor Henryk Skarżyński, founder and director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing and the World Hearing Center in Kajetany has been accepted as a member of the prestigious American Neurotology Society.     December 4, 2014 become a special day for the laureates of Prix Galien. This international completion has a 44-year tradition.
